The Beginner Rumble League's two top contestants are polar opposites, contrasting each other like ice and fire! Through interviews and research, Bob News is bringing out fresh information on these talents and more!

Miwa is a golden dragon, brimming with confidence and talent, breathing fire and soaring high. She wins as much as she yaps, and that's a lot! In the previous issue of Bob News, I stated that she was comparable to Rumblers at 15,000 BP. She corrected me. She crushes players at 15K BP and under. And when asked for a quote, she simply stated, "I'll win BRL."

If Miwa were an arrogant dragon, DinoBomber would be a crouching tiger. In the last issue, I mentioned he rivaled Miwa, but what I didn't realize was that he did it at 700 BP. Not 7,000, but 700. The last time the community saw a talent this BP-dense was Zanitan, often called the Second Coming of the Godslayer, an allusion to the legendary Rumbler Sauerkraut. And unlike Miwa, DinoBomber is just a chill guy, cool as ice. His secret? "Play time and being humble," he states. He has 70 hours in the game, and when he's not playing, he's watching Pro Online Rumble Competition videos, reviewing VODs, and having a lot of fun.

A golden dragon and a white tiger, and their playstyles are also opposing, with Miwa specializing in chip-disk offense and DinoBomber in micro-movement defense. Most of the other contestants are rooting against Miwa, with Nara even expressing her annoyance with her (and also her hatred of raw tomatoes, which I will omit) to me. BottomFeeder, however, is one of the rare folks that appreciates Miwa's character, admiring her dedication.

An Ancient Evil

We've just received more information on the evil that is Barry Smithst and ITS enemies, Owen and GreenMan. Barry Smithst is invoking the snake god Apep, otherwise known as Apophis, to swallow the sun “in one big gulp, nom nom nom nom,” as IT stated, with ITS second-in-command, Miwa. IT accidentally killed GreenMan's father during ITS internship at Villain College, likely utilizing ITS specialty of chip and ball mix-ups. IT also wants volatile clips for a Magic Missile-style parody of She Bangs by Ricky Martin, so if you have any clips, make sure to DM IT.

Barry Smithst is not the only one cooking something, however, because during our interview with the chosen one, Owen, an avid user of MEFA and style, we discovered these mysterious carvings on the walls... Whatever could it mean?

Lights, Camera, Action!

Kavaroots, disciple of Quarters!Enjoyer, is sticking cameras on the heads of other players, bending their vision! He has specialized in the rare field of Camerabending, and he aims to stick a camera onto someone's head in the official BRL tournament. It's inefficient, difficult, and risky, but it sure is silly

Hold? Hold!

Will962k is a hold-only flight scientist and has already created two new tech, Slime Latch: a reverse mount that is inspired by Slime's move "Slime lob" and Cloud Storage: a hold flight move where you fly into the air, dismount the structure, and then parry the structure in place to make it stay in the air for the user to use again for their next setup. You can find the details in the Hold Flight skill tree. His coach, Alexanderus, states even he struggles against his hold flight when he's on host.

Wizard of Balling

There's a wizard in BRL??? And he's balling?! Mystic Pagwen, an apprentice of Agile, is rumored to be the Basketball Mage (by himself), and their quirk is that they announce their spells throughout their matches! When we asked him for a quote, he simply said, "Fireball." If you've seen BRL season 1, it sounds reminiscent of Chez's signature move, the Dunk. Just what kind of secrets is this wise wizard hiding?
