A True Dragon

The BRL season 3 grand finale is finally over, spelling the end of the tournament.

Between the style showmatch Owen and Roy and the actual match of Dragon vs Peason, the winners have been decided.

Roy dominated the showmatch, while the latter match was given to Dragon, cementing him as one worth the name of dragon.

The expectations for Peason were low, since he's known for his flow jumps and flashy moves in this serious tournament environment, but his lose was 3-3(1), not by being punished by Dragon, but through bad positioning and a volatile finish.

It's a smooth blend of meta and magic that's unique to him, an unorthodox playstyle that everyone who has played him once has come to love.

And speaking of love, show some love to our grand champion, Dragon, as well. I've seen some unkind things thrown at him, like that's he a bit annoying or that he doesn't look like the type to stick with the game, but I think he will.

Dragon's a champion, whether it's Elementals Divided or Rumble, a man dedicated to the craft and mastery of a game, humble and on the down low, and an active member of the community. He's someone deserving of respect.

And as for me, your journalist, Bobsterar, I will be retiring from Bob News, because I think I've gotten what I wanted, which was stories. I love stories, and I think BRL has amazing storytelling potential, but I didn't know how big of a commitment it will be.
